Three simple steps to transform your day makeup to evening makeup. As a professional makeup artist, quick transformations are key for clients with time constraints. To transform your day look into an evening look try these three simple steps.
- Brighten up the lips – Lipstick is the easiest way to lift your look. Using a deep bold red can immediately brighten up your look in one move. Current makeup trends are leaning towards orange lips or deep dark reds. We like the matte buttered rum lip stick from Avon.
Choose a matte colour for impact.To prevent bleeding or uneven application, use a nude lip liner to neaten up the lips when applying a bold colour. We like the MAC etcetera lip liner. A tip to make lip colour last is to line the lips with a nude colour and gently fill in the lips with the liner before applying your favorite lippy.

For a slight change, turn your single line of day liner into an evening look by adding additional length and two wings for a double winged cat eye. 
Another option is to use a dark pencil eyeliner and smudge along the lash line for a smokey effect. Opt for dark mauve colours or dark brown to avoid the ever dreaded panda eye.
