The JHB blogger meetup was an incredible event and is the reason I have decided to start a separate blog. This kind of event deserves to have its own entry.
Johlet Swiegers put together a social gathering of note with 25 ladies from around Jhb, all of whom have dabbled in the world of blogging. We were overwhelmed by the generosity of the sponsors, all the lucky ladies received gift bags worth 4k. As stated by others,”Flabbergasted”, “Oprah” and “Christmas” come to mind when we see these gorgeous goody bags. Thank you to all of the sponsors who made the event unforgettable and special. The event was held at the beautiful Vovo Telo in Parkhurst. The perfect venue for sqealing, happy patrons. Excitement built as Sue Levy shared her blogging tips and encouragement for women to empower each other. To add to the day, Vitamin Water quenched our thirst with non stop drinks and Zoya was ready to spoil us even further with manicure’s. The food was gorgeous but for me the star of the show was meeting all the lovely bloggers in person. This really brought the elusive on-line world to life. Reading blogs has become animated for me.
